Wordle is in the number one slot for me for serveal reasons one being that it is inspiration behind the modern daily game craze we see today. Wordle is a simple yet complex game that anyone can pick up and have fun with, but to truely get good at it and consitantly beat the puzzle in as few tries as possible takes time. It also takes a suprising amount of skill through unique strtegies that people build for themselves.

Waffle is a close second in the ranking of games for me. It is an iteresting take on the basic concept of wordle while still having its own unique flavor. It scratches the same itch that solving Wordle and other puzzles gives while not feeling like a copy.

Nerdle answers the question of what if you made wordle but with numbers and mathamatic equations. This game is interesting and can be fun to play but for me I feel like they is deffinetly a bigger difficulty curve when you compare this to wordle. In this game you are not only finding the order of the numbers but you are finding where to place equation signs. You make a true math equation which can have me stumped sometimes.

Connections is a lot different than the other games I've ranksed so far on my list. In that it is a game where you categrize words you have been given. This is a good game and when you finally make a connection after thinking for a long period of time it is a nice aha moment and boost of dopamine. Though I do think that the ones designing the puzzles go overboard with the red herrings by choosing too many words that would go together in a category. Its just not the category you are looking for.

I see Strands as an upgraded word search and it works well. It is fun especially with the mechanic of following a theme for the words you are finding. Sometimes the words you have to find feel pretty niche and are hard to think of on your own when you are looking for them.

Framed is perfect example of applying the game sturecture of wordle to a completely different genre. It is a game that gives you a great since of accomplishment when you guess the movie correctly. Unfortunately there will be many times where you just have never seen or even heard of the movie and therefore you are set up to fail that puzzle from the start.

Minigolfle is another very different game from the rest. It is as much of a puzzle as the other games and more of test your skills at estimating where you will hit the ball too. Still can be entertaining and a nice break from more thinking heavy games.

Angle is an interesting one because it gives you the answer from the start. The game is just getting you to convert that answer into numbers based on your estimation abilities. I do feel like this game also gives you the added effct of helping you get better at being able to roughly guess angles in real life if you play it enough.

Padlock is simlar to Nerdle in that it is a numbers version of wordle but there is no inclusion of mathamatical equations. It feels great to solve this one. Though I think it is a bit to difficult to be higher on my list of favorites. The hints of the game tell you if you used a correct number in an incorrect spot or if you used a correct number in the correct spot. The game also doesn't directly tell you which numbers you have right until you get it fully right. This game for me is one I've only recently picked up and I may improve its rank as I get better. For now it is my second to last because of its difficulty.

Finally we have Worldle which is for me a very fun game, but that just depends on the day. I am not super well versed in geography so unless the correct country I have to guess is in Europe I struggle. I also feel that the hints of telling the player how far the country they just guessed is from the correct country does not help me much personally. I feel that this games rating will definetely improve for me after I gain some more knowledge of geography.
